Restaurant
High Tide Kitchen is a stunning beachside restaurant that perfectly blends modern design elements with the natural charm of its surroundings. The space was completely transformed from a dated bagel shop into a welcoming and inviting environment that captures the relaxed and casual atmosphere of a day at the beach.
Upon entering the space, guests are immediately greeted by a beautiful combination of white brick walls and California plank wood flooring that adds warmth and texture to the room. The ship lap ceiling perfectly complements the woven basket pendant lighting and sandy-colored wood floors.
The space is thoughtfully designed to create distinct areas, while still feeling open and airy. A charcoal colored half wall with shaker moulding creates a natural division between the open kitchen space and cashier counter from the dining area, without creating a sense of confinement.
The existing floor plan had several issues that disrupted the workflow. To address this, we carefully analyzed the space and considered the daily operations of the restaurant to develop a new space plan that maximized efficiency and ease of function.
The result is a layout tailored to the needs of the restaurant that not only looks great, but also functions seamlessly. The attention to detail in the space planning is evident in the smooth flow of the restaurants daily operations, creating a comfortable and efficient experience for both staff and customers.
The various styles of lighting throughout the restaurant provide a sense of depth and dimension to the space, allowing for different moods to be created throughout the day and evening. The complete new electrical plan ensures that the lighting is not only functional but also accentuates the design elements.
The existing tables were stripped down and refinished with a new stain to match the design. This sustainable solution created a cohesive look that complements the surrounding natural elements of the space, adding to its overall warmth and appeal.
